That was a great race guys.
I'm happy and pissed all at the same time. The first half of the race was my most consistent race yet. Lap after lap with similar times, and still fairly close to my PB. Followed Jim for a few laps, then worked to keep a buffer between myself and Paul and Troy. After my pit I was in front of Jim, but I didn't even try to race him on cold tires, and again Paul and troy were behind me. Then my co-worker started calling and texting me repeatedly. Distracted me enough to let both Paul and Troy by. Finally got a text to call him because it was important so I pulled into the pits and made the call.
After calling him I managed to race up and challenge Tony on the last lap. Might have given him a good go towards the finish line, but got a bit out of sorts slowing down for the chicane. Oh well.
My co-worker wanted me to know that he wouldn't be available for a few hours (he's on-call). I'm not his boss, he shouldn't be calling me with that in the first place.

I'm just happy that I made it to the finish line in one piece (and that I didn't get any screen freezes that I was suffering from last week). Last 5-ish laps went by in a blur and predictably ended up with me forgetting how to downshift and overshooting a corner, twice.

I've got to find a new pit crew!
They use my quick repair up washing bugs off the windscreen but when I come into the pits with a blown engine they just stand at the side laughing at me!!!!

Bummer Pete. Too bad we can't choose when to use the quick repair.

Decent race for me. I was not able to get enough practice in this week. My front tires gave up on me in the first stint, not sure if I was locking them up or just over driving the car. Gave up a couple spots in the middle and ed of the stint. The car felt much better after the pit stop and until the finish, which was odd because the tires had the same amount of tread left at the end as I did after the 1st stint. Would have thought the car would have understeered at the end of the race as it did before my pitstop. Good race overall and had some good side by sides.

Went great for me.... Took my pitstop on lap 3 after smacking the pit wall head on. Managed my tires well enough to last me the whole race and still finished with a top 5. Good race for me overall, just wished I could of pushed it some. I will say though, it was a great experiment and taught me a little bit about how to manage tires and still be fast.

I had a great run once I got going. Really struggled at the start and held up Jim and Tony. Jim got around me, but then I got a late Christmas present with Jim having to go off track to avoid Ryan. Then I screwed up my teammate a bit, but after that I got it together. Then zap, iRacing died. I've had a lot of good luck in this series so I guess it's time to pay up.
Pete! What was the deal with us? Anytime we got near each other (practice mainly) we drove off the track! LOL, hope that is out of our system now.

I am starting to get a lot more comfortable in this car, especially in traffic. Had a really fun race last night. Good battles with Paul Darling and Jason Beach at the start. Kept that going until the pit stop. They pitted a lap later than me and I thought I could get by them when they were on cold tires, but they just held me off.
I was wondering why Jason pulled in the pits, now I know why. That is very annoying Jason, I would be very upset also.
I tried to stick with Paul, but he really found his pace during the race. A good time to get it figured out.
Near the end, Tony K. started to catch up to me. I knew the race couldn't be longer than 29 laps, so I really pushed it to stay ahead of him. I pushed so hard that I even had an off track on lap 28. But it was worth it to hold the position.

Good race again guys, didn't hear to much on the radio which is always good. I had a terrible start, only shot I had at Marty and Nigel was at the start so I was a bit aggressive and it failed. After that I couldn't quite catch Danill, kept making small mistakes and he was pulling away. After the pit stop I managed to gain back 6 seconds and the gap was down to 2 seconds. We held that gap for the second stint but he slipped a couple times on the last lap and I managed to get by before the line. Glad this race is over. This car never quite feels right at the is track. The old car felt the same. Brands should be fun but its a small track and tough to pass so the elbows will be out again

I struggle to keep my concentration during races, and that killed it pretty quickly. However, I feel like an ass now. Though he didn't say so last night, this morning I found out that he was taking his kid to the emergency room. Good thing I didn't say what I was thinking last night.

I have no luck here in league races. In the GSC race in the RUF I ran out of fuel on the final lap. Last night my engine blew up.
I was running fine until the pit stop then everything went to hell. I pressed the wrong button and didn't turn on my pit limiter, 15 second penalty First lap out of the pits on new tires, slow spin into the wall at the hairpin which must have damaged the engine no speed for the rest of the race, then boom with a couple of laps to go.
Ah well, move on.
