Ya i have a nvidia card but I run triples as well. I was looking at a avermedia card but it looks like it only supports single monitor resolutions. OBS allows you to just capture the middle screen of a triple monitor setup. It's relatively easy to use, doesn't impact frame rate too much, takes good quality video, and it's free. edit: I have never tried it with iRacing, though, since my computer isn't fast enough to run triples and record while staying over 60fps. I was going to mention OBS also but the only time that I have ever tried recording locally ended up in a corrupt file. That in itself is by no means an indictment of OBS as a recording software but it sure was enough to scare me away.

I downloaded it and gave it a quick try. I can run full screen with it and get better quality with no audio sync issues so far. According to the FPS display I'm running about 10 more in windowed mode capturing with Debut, but the game definitely doesn't run nearly as smooth. I think I'll try capturing tonight's race with OBS and see how it goes.

OBS worked pretty well for me tonight. Audio sync and video quality are both better than I have with the Debut software, and it has less impact on the game (runs smoother).
Tim, how do you like Dxtory, and how much hit does your system take? Running OBS tonight at the start I was getting down around 40FPS with everyone bunched together, then back to 50+ for most of the race. I think I normally run around 60 during the race when everyone isn't bunched up.

Yes I would like to know as well, I have a i7 4770k overclocked, gtx 780ti overclocked, 16 gb ram, and can only get about 100-120 fps at almost max iracing settins. I turned down the shadows some. I have iRacing capped at 85 fps so that way the video card isn't pegged all the time. EDIT: I said 970ti, which isn't a real product, I meant to say 780ti

What you'll also want to do (if you are going to record) is to turn off your car's mirrors because they use up a lot of memory, and you'll want to turn down the detail on anything that isn't an on-track object. I would also recommend that you render the entire screen as one image instead of rendering each monitor individually. Doing those small things will free up a lot of memory, which you'll need for recording.
