I have a buddy who is moving up through the license classes in preparation for joining the V8SC (I seem to be manufacturing converts with my videos, no big deal ). However, when I was looking at the different series and the respective license requirement for a given series I found myself wondering if some of the series with high participation, but are known for recklessness--GT3 for example--would see an improvement in the overall racing if iRacing moved the series from a license requirement of B to A? What do you guys think? An A license is a rather useless license to hold in iRacing for the road side of things since the only thing in A is the F1, which from what I understand isn't a highly popular series anyways, so I think it would be nice if iRacing flexed it muscles and made one of the most popular series an A License requirement--especially now that iRacing has hit Steam.

I agree with you. I also think the V8SC series should require a B license minimum. It is one of the most challenging cars on the service.

unfortunately its too easy to manipulate your licensing to get to an A license, I honestly don't believe it will make much of a difference. The V8 seems to have a tendancy to have closer tougher racing as evidenced in the americas series, what we are suffering from right now is a huge influx of drivers in many license categories that struggle to come to grips with the "grip" of this car.
