I can drive the RUF. I work on Saturdays from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm EST. I would be available anytime after about 4:15 pm to run laps.
Has a team leader been designated yet? Someone should come up with a schedule based on everyone's availability.
Someone also needs to create the team in iRacing and everyone who is going to run needs to join it. And the team leader needs to get the livery loaded which we will use for the race. Has anybody made a GRAsim livery for the RUF yet? I am not a painter, so I can't help there.
We also need to decide on a setup to use. Everyone has to run the same setup, so we need to make sure it will work for all of us. There are 3 setups for Daytona on the forum from this season we can try out and make adjustments to. As we test, we need to keep sharing the setups so we can all agree on one for the race.

Hey guys, I've got a spreadsheet here that the team I ran with for the 24 Hours of Spa used. Just put what times you are available. Green = Available Yellow = Maybe Red = Not Available docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ETlbD1zDrDKkJDsamZ6nrHP0vukQj7uxTrachOhDK1k/edit?usp=sharingAs for paints is there anyone that could whip one up really quick? I might be able to but it wouldn't look that great lol Trading Paints is set for a hopeful team update before the Daytona 24 FYI.

Who will be the team leader? I won't be able to because the team leader has to be there at the start of the session and I will be at work at that time.

Anyone else?
I have to work the music shop Saturday, and the earliest I can be back home is 4pmEST. That leaves me out as team leader. After that, I'm available, and at the very least I can be on to spot and provide moral support for the drivers.
Team leader, create the team and call it GRA Team #1 or something. I have a feeling we'll pool drivers together for the special events later on in the year as well, and that makes for a change of cars. No need to name the team with the car name in it.
Other things to consider:
1. pre-stint checklist (food, drink, headset/mic charged, pit road speed limiter hotkey, pedals calibrated, etc.) 2. team setup preloaded 3. team skin preloaded 4. set a time to practice driver swaps (I've never done one) 5. fair share min and max times 6. enlisting some "maybe" drivers as backups or on-call (barring some real-life emergency)

As I did the roar before last week perhaps i can offer some advice 1. important to have the headset and ipads or phones charged so they will last your stint, I would suggest no more then 2 full fuel tanks per round ( thats 2 hours for a GT car and 50 minutes for hpd) ensure you charge them immediately after your stint. DO NOT have any open containers around your equipment, the pit road limiter is key, if you are driving and actuate it, whoever is driving next has to be able to deactivate it 2. decide on a set you can all use, make it driveable, you are limited to incar setup changes for the 24 hours, you cannot go into setup and change things 3. hopefully trading paints will have a skin feature for the 24 ( not available yet) 4. driver swaps are dead easy. enter pit and hit your exit button, the next driver can also click "remove driver" then click "race" and he is in the car, it takes less time then the actual pit stop 5. Fair share, the most confusing thing to understand but actually very easy number of laps completed (key word, completed) divided by # of drivers, divided by 4 (25%)......so if you do 800 laps with 5 drivers = 160 divided by 4 (25%) is 40 laps. 40 is the minimum number of laps each driver must do based on the total of 800, any driver driver can do more, no driver can do less , otherwise you are disqualified (btw, i think the GT cars do about 780 laps for the winners last week) 6.backups are handy, but if you have to get out of the car, ensure you exit the game if there is no driver available, the car will run and overheat in pit lane and the motor will blow up. do not trust it to sit in pit lane even if the motor seems to be off, when you aren't looking one of the pit guys turns it back on

Oh and last thing, if you get an early morning shift and have to get up to race, ensure you wake up well in advance, have a coffee and wipe the sleep out of your eyes I went straight from bed to my rig and got going at 6am, no coffee, didn't even wash my face ======half spin on out lap, 3 off tracks in a few laps, i had more incidents on that stint then i did in 6 other stints combined
