hey kids. just want to offer apologies for asking folks for a set. first, my pc decided it doesnt want to download anything such as email or sets from this forum. just get adobe cant read. so i ask for a set in iracing as that seems the only way i can get them. also sets i have from last season were kind of modified because of my pos g25 stuff. the throttle liked to stick around 3000 rpm. and brakes were not really there. anyway, i have a used g27 kit and once i got used to it actually working i noticed my car didnt drive the same as before. so i kind of feel like im starting over in this car but for the better. so sorry if i seemed like a pest who couldnt figure things out, that wasnt my intention. see you all tues nite. cheers bill

No worries Bill. You will always find (if not ask Tony K) a NQR shared set somewhere. If your wheel was fine, you could just use the G27 pedals with the G25 wheel. They are the same.

this may not involve set up more strategy but if I was in a V8 race and we had to pit for fuel and tyres due to distance would it be an idea to consider pitting on lap 1 for fuel and then when the tyres get worn to point of needing to change them pit for tyres and not have to worry about fuel as well and may be able to shorten the stop, because on the V8s in Australia they pit for fuel on lap 1. Could some people say whether it is a good idea or would I be more of a chance of being lapped and possibly put in to a position causing damage at pit stops

Could some people say whether it is a good idea or would I be more of a chance of being lapped and possibly put in to a position causing damage at pit stops I have found that the best strategy is to start the race with a full tank. Then pit about halfway through the race for tires and take just enough fuel to finish the race. Pitting twice would put you at a huge disadvantage and take way more time than getting your fuel and tires in the same stop.

The reason the real V8s pit after 1 lap is because the Nissans get horrible mileage so they instituted a mandatory number of pit stops for everyone. Pitting early just gets it out of the way and you can get out in clean air early.
For our league I would recommend what Troy said. Start with a full tank, pit after half way or right at half way. Our races are long enough so you will have to pit to take fuel. Usually you just need to put in enough fuel for 4 or 5 laps which is around 4 or 5 gallons. In the V8 you can fuel and do tires at the same time so as long as you are putting in less then 8 or 9 gallons of fuel your pit stop will be the same as if you just did tires.

I don't like the nissans in the V8s but I will do the strategy, that was mentioned
