Just noticed that I can upgrade to Windows 10 for free by reserving a copy, available for download after 7/29. Currently running Win7Pro64, is the upgrade worth the effort? Anyone else going to upgrade?

If you are on 7 or 8 you will get a free upgrade, but the free upgrade is only valid for 1 year. I would wait a few months to upgrade if you are hesitant. That way it can be updated. It has been out for a while now if you wanted to try it. I used it for a few months but I messed something up and had to reinstall 8 back on my laptop. I will probably get it as soon as it comes out, but thats me.

After a little digging, it turns out the free upgrade is the full version, and you have 1 year from the time it is available to take advantage of the free upgrade...no time limits once installed.
