I was plagued with connection issues tonight. I got kicked out during the pace lap, rejoined one lap down, then got kicked out again. Grrrrr ....

Sorry to hear that Ed ... you and Paul had similar problems. I was pleased to qualify 6th, and was up to 4th until about halfway through the race I cocked up the exit of the final corner and smacked the inside wall. Fell to the back, but I managed to work my way back up to 6th ... but only due to others' problems. All in all, a great test of the new system. Nice to be back.

Couldn't connect to the league session last night, sucks as I was looking forward to the race. It was weird though, as I was able to practice but was unable to access the leagues tab or any official sessions either.

Turns out it was that dang history delete that happened a few races ago, didn't remember until this morning though, DOH! Any other Firefox users have the same problem?

Results have been updated!
As for the internet issues ... I thought it was just me, but it sounds like there might have been bigger regional issues impacting impacting the mid-atlantic states.
One last reminder ... next week we've got Laguna Seca. Then 2 weeks later, we have our final race. It seems like summer has come early for us since our attendance has almost halved(!) since our first two races, so I'm going to reschedule our final round to a more appropriate 60 minute sprint at Road Atlanta. It's a favorite track among us, and the short distance will help ensure everyone stays in touch.
Thank again gents, and see you all next weekend.

Had a blast - I learned more about the BMW and Phillips Island - a track I have had poor pace at. I Q'd 4th somehow and stayed close to that until my brakes faded heading to the hairpin and I had to let folks by. I had a decent stop, another off, and then tried to make up ground in Chris but ran out of time (and skill to some extent). Smallish field but I had a good time. Sorry for those having connection challenges. Hopefully they are in your rear view mirror(just not me). Seca next - another track I have faired poorly. We will see.

Congratulations on the win Mario! As usual me and Ricardo had a great battle. Always something to look forward to when racing @ GRAsim. Pretty disappointing race considering I was leading by 7 seconds when I got disconnected. There was a party at my place, and someone had changed the internet wiring pre-party so it wasn't downstairs with the chaos. I didn't bother to check it when I got home but right before qualifying it was noticed that the internet wasn't going through the router with the firewall. So we had to revert the internet back to downstairs so it went through the router with the firewall. Aaaaand of course someone stepped on the surge protector and turned it off during the race. It sucks even more because I was going to use my drop race next weekend because I'll be on the road to Oregon for the last baja race. Oh well....

Thank you guys. I wasn't expecting a podium but I'm glad I did because I tried to stay out of troubles since I was not fast. I was expecting finishing in fourth position based on the first 7 laps Wich was a blast looking at you Paul, Ricardo and Joseph to whom I tried to stay in his miror. Ray, Jim, Rob were not far behind me during some portion of the race which was fun Connection problems are a plague. I fell bad for the ones who suffer from them. Our spare times are limited and we are looking forward to race once every two weeks with each others and when those issue happens it can be really frustrating at least. That problem gave the opportunity to Ricardo to put some pression on me on the last portion of the race. The gab between us was going away too fast to my taste but the race endend at the right time for me. One more lap would might endend differently That was Great fun again and looking forward to race with you next week but I m not looking forward to the track :/

Congratulations Mario! Again a very interesting race for me. Surprised to get the pole position, started well but after 5 laps couldn't hold on Paul's shot at 1st place. From then on I tried to keep up with his pace and I was surprised not to find him on my radar after the pit stop. On the 2nd stint I made a huge mistake, missing T1. I lost around 10 seconds and from then on I tried to catch Mario, who took the lead. Very intense, the last 3 or 4 laps, as I was closing fast on Mario. In the end I wasn't able to catch him, he drove a very consistent and error free race. Well done!
