I'm taking the week off on this one lol.
I like Bathurst but can't get down the hill cleanly to save my life and adding to that issue is my TrackIR died.
Good luck all!

I was kind of hoping that we would have had a bigger turn out for Bathurst, but such was not the case. Maybe next time. This race got a whole lot more interesting after my pit stop. Mark and I were rather close for a good chunk of that last half of the race. Then to cap it off Ryan decided to take the jump on the last lap.

the turnout was disapointing, not sure why the drop off in entries lately
what do we have to do differently to attract and keep more drivers?

the turnout was disapointing, not sure why the drop off in entries lately what do we have to do differently to attract and keep more drivers? I think that is the $20 million question. Maybe our turn out will bounce back next week? When I was playing in an amatuer men's baseball league we had the same problem with player attendence during midseason. Should we do a midseason roll call? See who is still here and who is still willing to participate in these last 4 weeks?

I too was busy this week, but wasn't too upset to miss Bathurst. I have to imagine that the past four tracks have been very skippable tracks. I've enjoyed Zolder and Montreal, but seems most people hate them, not to mention Oran... I think being at Sebring next week we'll have a good turn out.

the turnout was disapointing, not sure why the drop off in entries lately what do we have to do differently to attract and keep more drivers? I could't make it because TrackIR packed it in and right now the last thing I need is to race with even more shaken confidence. I've come to rely heavily on TrackIR and just can't turn laps comfortably without it. For me to race my comfort level has to be pretty high, ask anyone who knows me. I can practice all week long and if I don't feel I have it I simply won't race. For me first and foremost it's about getting around the track safely and not wrecking other drivers even though it can and will happen eventually; I just do all I can to mitigate it. This is a personal issue so it has nothing to do with the League. As for the League I have to admit that I was somewhat put off quickly after joining in finding out Teams were split into pairs. To be perfectly honest this may be the way Teams are split in the real world but here it feels as if you're racing against your Team rather than with them. Had I been aware of this before joining I may not have joined to be perfectly honest. I came here through Anthony Mino as I've come to have a great deal of respect for both him and Tim Briggs and thought this may be fun. Having said that, I also have a great deal of respect for you Mr. Kloosterman yet I've never spoken more than a few words to you. I respect you out of what you do for this League and your high level of skill but personally know nothing about you. I've spent no time in Teamspeak with anyone outside Tony and Tim not to mention my own Teammates which is the reason I feel that level of camaraderie with them; most everyone else here is a faceless name. I don't believe this is conducive to a "Community" feel as on track I feel no different here than I do outside of League. Anyway, the only reason I bring this up is as constructive criticism based off the question posed. How I feel may not be relevant to how others feel including drivers from my own Team. Personally I'd suggest creating a separate thread for people to share their insight with, you never know what may come of it.

Great points Ken< I'll try and give you my input on your points 1. please race, the only way you get to feel comfortable about racing with others is to actually do it, hold your lines, move over if necessary on a straight and let the guy that is lapping you take care of the rest 2. Teams, teams are teams and should share and help each other, conversely, anyone who asks for help around here usually gets it, i have shared my sets with many, as for the championship the only fair way to do a team championship is in pairs, otehrwise its who has the most friends, we have 6 guys on our team and right now only 3 participate due to various personal reasons, they will be back, and we have no chance of winning the championship as all our partners are off 3. getting to know us, on the main page there is a driver spotlight grasim.weebly.com/it features a different driver every few weeks, we have asked for our members to provide info but it seems some are reluctant to do so, not sure how else we do this if people don't co-operate I'm open to any and all suggestions

Troy, Val, and I are all fighting over that 2nd place spot. Perhaps team courtesies will be put aside with individual championship points on the line.
