Well, 2nd eye surgery is tomorrow and based on the results of the first my vision should be better than what it was before. That's the good news. The bad news is that the cancer is stage 4 lung cancer. The cancer is in the right lung in 3 places, lump on my back, and in the bone on my left hip (explains the recent pain which feels like a torn tendon in the left leg). I can't get a brain MRI done until the 5th of May so can't exclude spread to there until that is done. I see a radiation oncologist Thursday to see if radiation therapy can be done to help with the bone cancer, reduce and relieve pain. Prognosis is for another year, maybe 2. Definitely puts a new meaning to what life ahead will be.

no good words to express other then i'm sorry to hear this Jim. There is strength in positivity but i know that is difficult at this time. Our family has had its share of this and we have had some positive experiences and been on the other side as well.

I am very sorry to hear this, Jim. My wife deals with the same situation, although from a different disease, and I still don't pretend to understand what it is. I am here if there is anything you need, man.

Sorry to hear Jim.
Not much more to say that hasn't been said already, your online family is here if you need anything.
