Big apologies to Chris Skala and I hope I did not impact your race too much. That was a really dumb mistake on my part and in such an easy corner. Really not sure how I managed to loose it there.
Congrats to Paul, Alvin, and Ricardo. You guys flat smoked us. Great racing Mario and Greg.
I've enjoyed racing with all of you and thanks again to Ed for putting this all together. I might not be on the track again for a while, but I just wanted everyone to know it's not because I don't want to be there. This is an awesome league and I look forward to racing with you all again.

Congratulations to guys on the podium, very well done. I really enjoyed my race with you guys and I wasn't expecting a finish in the top 5. Great great racing with you Glenn and Greg. I opted for an early pit stop strategie and when you came out of the pit line just a few feet ahead of me with 30 minutes to go I said to my self that I couldn't ask for a better finish. Hope to see you soon on the track. Thanks to Ed for his work !

Again great race clean and fun, congrats to Paul for taking the win…..it was another good race for me i forgot to put my qual set on so it hurt my starting position but i stayed out of trouble the whole race and in fact i did not even put a tire off…….Thanks to Chris Miller for the pit stratogy it worked well i ended the race with about 1 lap of fuel left. i opted for fuel only on last stop and it was a battle to the end my tires where falling of and Rob was catching me 1 sec a lap at the end……..

(Results and Championship standings have been posted!)
Thanks again to everyone that joined us last night. Personally, I had a pretty fun race yesterday.
No surprises for me during qualifying as I slotted into the bottom 1/3 of the field. After the initial couple laps as we set into our pace, I had a great battle multi-car battle going with William and Chris Skala to name a few. We had a 1-2 second gap in front and behind us which kept things very interesting. Unfortunately, William had a bad spin which broke up the action - but until then, we were racing pretty hard until the first round of stops 30-40 minutes into the race.
I opted for 2 evenly spaced stops, so I briefly got out of sequence, but knew that if everything worked out I would hopefully be battling with Rob, Chris Payne and Chris Skala for positions towards the end. They were all quicker than me, but I was feeling pretty good at the time as I'd only accumulated 1 incident until then and had opted for tires at my second stop. Unfortunately for me, I got surprised by the leader's car as I was lapping another car and had to take a lengthy off-course excursion. My bad, but I was happy to have avoided a double or triple car accident. Ultimately it cost me any chance to catch the developing battle between Chris Payne and Rob.
See you guys in 2 weeks for Brands Hatch!

Glad I got a Top 10 out of this given my mess ups.
I didn't get a Q lap in since I was with my kiddo getting him to bed. So, started P17 or thereabouts.
Race start was good, and I worked my way past a couple other drivers over the first few laps. Got to my first pitstop with no problems. I was planning to take fuel but no tires, but for some reason, the pit crew held me for about 5-8 extra seconds after the fueling was completed. I know tires were not taken as my lap times during the second stint reflected the used rubber.
Regardless, second stint was good, still with no incidents and running consistent 50s on the old tires. Was trying to keep with a couple of the other guys in the second half of the Top 10, but kept slipping slightly through the stint.
Took fuel and tires at the second stop and immediately ran my quick lap, and series of other laps in the low 49s (good for me, although slow compared to the lead group). Stint was going really well and I was catching the guys who didn't take tires for the final stint. Still no incidents, and I was hoping to get the 2 bonus points for a clean race. Then...
Ugh!!! Got on the throttle a little quick exiting the second chicane after Hanger Straight, and had a lazy spin off to driver's left. Took 1 IP and lost around 10-12 seconds. From there, I still managed to get by one car to score the Top 10, but I was disappointed that I couldn't challenge for P9. I figure that the two time delays may have cost me the chance to challenge for P8.
Overall, still, very fun and am looking forward to the next round.
Cyas! Rob

That was a really fun race! Based on practice times I knew this would be a close one. Ricardo put a great qualy lap in to get pole, and I qualified 3rd behind Alvin. Going into turn 1 on lap 1 Alvin made an aggressive move to pass Ricardo, which allowed me to get past Ricardo and behind Alvin at the head. The three of us stayed nose to tail for the basically entire first stint. Quite a bit of clean side by side action which was a blast. Alvin and Ricardo pitted several laps earlier than me, so I knew I could take a lot less fuel for the final stop. When I left the pits after the first stop I was ~3 seconds behind Alvin, and Ricardo was ~3 seconds behind me. I eventually caught Alvin right as Ricardo caught me, and then we were back to close racing for the lead. After even more laps with some really fun racing I came out ahead of Alvin. I think Ricardo got into Alvin very slightly and put them both a few seconds behind me. From there I knew I would have a gap after the fuel only stop and I tried to keep the car clean. Great racing with everyone! Thank you Duljon for posting that Ruf setup, worked wonders for me. Can't wait for the next one, hopefully more close racing to come!

Hey guys. First Things first, Thank you for allowing to race, being such a novice to Road Racing. Glenn no need to apologize. The Incident had no harm to where I finished. I made plenty of mistakes. That was my first race on Silverstone, outside of F1 games. I had to learn a lot and will be learning a ton for every race. My goal is to be competitive and to show respect to you. I had fun. I also had an issue in the same corner the lap before pitting twice. Constancy LOL.
See you guys next race.

I'm sorry, guys! My master plan for this weekend was to race at Silverstone. However, my parents and brother and his family went to my house I couldn't.
I'm proud of Chris and his "debut" @ road racing. He found several seconds practicing for the race!
Congrats Paul and podium!
