seems to be a bit of a recurring theme here lately, a lot of us have gone or are going through some serious shit. Personal losses and extreme illness. tonight my brother had a heart attack, driving an 18 wheeler........luckily he recognized what was happening and pulled over safely and dispatch called 911, ambulance and paramedics arrived and went into action, transported him to hospital and he was in and out of surgery within 90 minutes of the 911 call. hes going to be okay and is resting comfortably now. thank god we have first responders that act so quickly.
If you haven't done so today, tell your loved ones you care for them, call your mom or dad (if they are still with us) and just say hi, you never know if it may be the last time and it shouldn't take an event similar to this to make you wish you had.
This past 12 months has been hell on wheels, i hope it turns around soon.

Sorry to hear it, but glad to hear he is doing well, Tony. My wife has written a lot about heart attacks for industry newsletters, and it is astonishing what they can do for heart attack victims now. It has gotten to the point where doctors, off the record, would say that the biggest cause of death in heart attacks now is either the remoteness of the victim, or, and this is more likely the cause, men not going in until they are actually doing the whole chest clutch. Time is everything. Glad they were so fast with him.
