I was looking through the splits and I had noticed something...there were a lot of Australians racing last night. Out of 52 drivers registered, 32 were from Oz--that's 62% of the registered field. That means only 20 drivers were from the Americas. Out of those 20 drivers were the following results:
1 win, 3 Top Five, and 5 Top Ten for a grand total of 9 Top Ten finishes.
Split breakdown: First Split: 8 Auz/NZ, 10 Americas Second Split: 11 Auz/NZ, 6 Americas Third Split: 13 Auz/NZ, 4 Americas
Seems to me that us Americas drivers need to start better representing in our own SOF races!

I guess its problem of our own success. Back in my day (trying out my seasoned V8 Americas veteran voice) Thursday night was the "Americas" split. There was only a few Aussies in that race. Friday on the other hand was all Aussies for the most part. i was typically the only American in the race. This continued until Kane and JD stared broadcasting the races. Then it became the go to split. Plus I think the main Aussie split race isn't has popular as it used to be (i could be wrong on that but that is what I heard).
Again I stopped racing in that split a while back because I found this league and I was having more fun here. I would say the official series is more challenging but I get a better more consistent field here and I know what to expect week in and week out.

That's a good point about the Aussie SOF races. I used to run those on Sunday night. Although they were fun and at times challenging, I still prefer the racing here in the league. I think it mirrors real life racing a lot more since you get to run against the same guys (for the most part) week in and week out.

Another thing I really like about racing in the league here is that I always know it will be on a US server. I also enjoy racing with the same guys every week and knowing that nobody is going to intentionally wreck anyone.
