This is going to be really cool! I can't wait!
As I will be spectating, I didn't vote. I am good either day, anyhow.

I think Thursday would be better, bearing in mind the problems getting onto the system and keeping a server up that sometimes happens on an update day.

here is a set based on todays suspension www.dropbox.com/s/423ebszfctk2x77/longbeach.sto?dl=0
this is good for low 22's right now and can serve for the basis of the new suspension geometry
note long beach is almost exclusively concrete, braking distances increase and wheelspin is very noticeable
note updated setup, 122 flat achieved. 121.3 opt default weather

Thursday is the only night I can't make it. I don't get home till 8:30-8:45 and by the time I take care of things it is after 9. So I am voting Tuesday, but I wouldn't mind Wednesday or Friday.

Either day will work for me. Keep checking the iRacing forums for the new build update. I haven't seen the announcement of when the new build will be deployed. They don't always deploy it on Tuesday. That is the normal day, but sometimes they aren't ready yet. I remember last year one of the seasons they deployed it on the Monday right before the new season started and it created a real cluster fuck when the new week switched over.
Another idea is Monday night. That will allow it to be on the current build so all current setups would work.

Based on some feedback i have taken out tuesday and given 2 other options, sorry to do this but i think based on the new build not being historically stable we should do it later in the week

Tony, I can't thank you enough for making this happen. I hope the track lends itself to good racing in the V8. I know some places will be tight. That fountain in turn, is it two and three?
The wife and I are heading to Long Beach on, I think, Thursday to look at an apartment that is about a block away from the final hairpin. I hope it works out! We have been looking for a while, as it not easy to find everything we need there for our price, but we have time.

Sounds like you're not too far from me then, Joe. I'm down in San Diego and I've been dying to get up to see a race at Long Beach for a while now. So if you snag that apartment then you'll be one lucky SOB!

I am out in Joshua Tree at the moment. Long Beach is the only place you can still get a closet for under a thousand a month that is anywhere near the ocean. Matt, you are welcome to crash, but you might have more room in your car. The good thing about everyone coming to crash is that it would be easier to sleep standing up when we are packed shoulder to shoulder.
