Unfortunately it appears that if you lived in the midwest or plains region you were going to be penalized with a lousy connection tonight. Sorry Jim, Alvin, James and Michael! Hopefully you guys can join us for our final race at Road Atlanta in 2 weeks, as well as our upcoming exhibition races.
My race was completely forgettable tonight. I had two setups going into the race, one quicker but less sure-footed, and the second slower but safer. I had done several laps in both, and had at first decided to go for the safer setup, but after I saw everyone's lap times, I switch my setup for the riskier one.
The opening laps looked great and accident free. I settled into a nice battle between Steven, Ray and me plus a few more cars (Claude? and William?) who suffered some early spins. It was fun, until my setup bit me and I spun the car damaging the front left corner and wheel. A few laps afterwards, I did the same thing at a different corner and that was all, my night was done except for some lengthy repairs.
I need to carve out some more time for me to practice - the biggest difference for me these last two races is that I didn't get a chance to tweak the setup to my tastes. Hopefully I can change that in time for our last race at Road Atlanta.

Dammit ... I was all set up to do some mock qualy runs when I heard a horrendous noise in my headphones, the computer went BSOD and immediately shut down, never to come back. Something spectacularly failed. Probably the motherboard or the video card ... I dunno. Hopefully the hard drive is intact. I don't know when I'll be back racing with you guys. I was planning on upgrading things anyway, so I guess I'll be doing it all at once now.
It's a shame, cos the car felt good and I was only ~2.5 seconds or so slower than the fastest car in practice. I was feeling good about my chances for a top 10 ... Ah well.

Another poor race for me. College is keeping me too busy to practice. Didn't like the set but didn't have time to do enough changes to it. Especially since my teammate and setup guy is in Alaska for winter testing with Chrysler. Ended up hating the setup later in the run on worn tyres. I was all over the place last night and ended up racking up a ton bunch incidents in the process. Had one spin when I got wheels on the grass under braking for Turn 8.
Meh.

That doesn't seem like too much of a disaster to me Paul. (But I know what you mean )

The first race I had plenty of time to practice with no school and got the setup nailed. Then I've gradually lost pace with schoolwork. Always chasing Chris

I'm always looking at Saturdays races and this weekend wasn't different. As Pete mentioned, I also love this car and this track. I was glad with my qualify time and start the race beside my teammate The first five laps were great trying to catch Mike and keeping Williams behind me, that was just awesome, too bad for what happened to you guys. and I managed to do the entire race without any incidents Great job Chris ! But team championship isn't done yet guys
