What a productive practice session tonight! I was running in the 42s and after learning a bit more about the track and this setup I have been able to get my times down to a best of a 1:40.1. I'm clamoring to get that elusive 1:39! So far it seems that I've been able to manage staying in the mid to low 40s, so that's something...for now. Thanks again, Tony for the setup!

I did some more practicing last night and found some more time. I can now run fairly consistent 1:39s with my full fuel race setup and ran a 1:38.4xx with my 10 gallon qual setup. Both setups are posted in the garage section, no changes since posting them.

This track is fun and scary at the same time. I've been running fairly consistent mid to low :40s with a fast lap in the mid :39s. Tonight I'll be concentrating on being safe.

Nice win Jim! But not lets make that a habit Lots I wish I could have done over again, but that's how it goes sometimes.

What a workout! Lost 7 seconds in the pits because as the car dropped I hit the toggle to start refueling again! Then it was just a matter of pushing like crazy to try and get past Glenn. I was fortunate that he made a small mistake going into the second chicane and I was able to pass him during his recovery. Great race by everyone, Greg I was sorry to see you have to disconnect

Nice win Jim! But not lets make that a habit Lots I wish I could have done over again, but that's how it goes sometimes. You could say that again. Not sure how, but I managed to mess up the easiest turn on the track on lap 2. Pushed out wide into the grass in 5th gear. Did ok for most of the rest of the race, except I let small mistakes bother me leading to more mistakes. I think I just need more race time.

Nice win Jim. Smooth and steady did it. I was wondering what happened on your pit. Thanks for giving me a chance to win one. I'll not forget my mistake for a long time. I was just running a good pace (for me) and got confused with the brake markers going into the second chicane. A complete brain fart. I say the 100 fly bye on my right when I was still wide open and then it was all panic and pucker and a few words.
Nice pole Greg. Sorry to see it fall apart. And Tony, you got robbed on the first lap, but nice recovery. I was very lucky to finish second.

What a workout. My arms and shoulders were actually sore after the race last night. I'm usually tired after these races, but not like that.
Congrats to Jim Davey on the win and to Glenn Sidman and Ryan Shelton for the podium finishes.
I had another clean consistent race. Made it through lap 1, then had Tony Mino right on my ass. I was holding my own, then got a little aggressive in the first chicane and brushed the tires. It didn't feel it affected my handling, but I pitted a little early because I could see some wrinkles on the hood.
After that I had nobody close to battle with, so I eased off just a bit and concentrated on running clean laps. I somehow got ahead of Clifton after his pit stop, so I pushed for a while trying to hold him off, but he eventually got by me, so I just settled in for a clean run to the finish.

Good fun race last night congrats to the podium. Need to work out some strategy I think... Lost too much time on old tires. Had a good first few laps battling up front, where I did not expect to be. This is the first season I have been running this car and am really enjoying it. Looking forward to next week.
