Since the start of last season I've been working on a video series on YouTube that I've been calling my "V8SC Mastery Series." It's basically a series where I'm tracking my progression in the V8SC from a week-to-week basis and now that we've hit tracks that I've previously raced before it's from a season-to-season basis as well. I'm always on the lookout for any tips or suggestions so if you see anything in the video (or in the playlist if you care to watch) please let me know. The sole purpose of this series is to get better and there is nothing like learning the ropes from guys who are already fast. V8SC Mastery Playlist

You're line looked good to me, other than a bit fast and shallow into the kink a few times. Hard to tell much more without seeing (or hearing) the gas and brake. I think you already figured out that consistency is really important with this car. Keep focusing on that and more speed and better finishes will come. And of course throttle control is critical. If you're using iSpeed (or whatever the thing (Tab Key) is in iRacing) watch how green it goes up the eases at Watkins Glen when you use less throttle. I think a little too much wheel spin increases the temps and kills the tires for the rest of the run, or at least for the next few corners. Also, this car responds well to trail braking. This is where the GT3 cars killed me. I could never figure out the breaking. For me the V8 is incredibly responsive to trail braking and the way in which you release the brake. Focus on getting off the brake and how the car responds. Also, pay attention to the car's attitude. In general, once the front dives under braking, don't let it spring back up until you are ready to get on the gas (sometimes I even "drag" the brake a bit to keep the front loaded). You want that weight to transfer smoothly to the rear when you pickup the gas (not when you are still trying to rotate the corner). If you start getting on and off the gas, then it's hard to get a good bite off the corner. Should I ramble on some more? No, I'll stop now Now if Marty and Nigel would just tell us their secrets we'd be golden

Hah. I just finished watching this playlist. Some good stuff. That's a whole lot of Tony for one day! LOL It took me a couple days. I like to have a youtube play lists running on one monitor while I play Kerbal Space Program on another. Hurry up and put more vids up, I'm running low..... Glen- Keep rambling, there's some good stuff there. Specifically the trail braking and smooth weight transfer.
