(I love data ) Here's a summary of the Thursday and Friday night practice combined (I'm lazy, so names will appear more than once). It's sorted by class (GT/LMP2), then by car (Ruf, MP4, etc.), then finally by fastest lap time. I've also included average lap time just for reference: Class | Car | Name | Average Lap Time | Fastest Lap Time |

As you said Mario - the GT3 cars are very close. I'm really surprised to see how competitive the Ford is too - it looks like you and Claude are ~.5 seconds within pole position in GT3.

Tried to run but am battling suspected food poisoning, could only run 3-4 laps before it felt like my lunch was going to get shaken right out of me. Sucks, this is one of my favorite night races. I'll try to make Oulton tomorrow.

Disappointing HPD turnout. At least we can confidently cross that idea (largely pushed by me) off the list.
Congrats to Greg and Paul. I spectated the last half and saw a lot of good clean racing. Nice runs by Mike Erter (1 inc.), Claude Belval (1 inc.), and Eric Eng.

Sorry I didn't make it guys. I was just too tired. I work on Saturdays and just wasn't ready for a race last night.

No problems guys - my parent's travel plans got (unexpectedly) delayed and so I missed all but the last few minutes of the race. I got on the server just in time to have a great post-race chat with the remaining drivers.
We tossed around many great ideas, but in the end, we decided to keep it simple for our first season and stick with a single class of Daytona Prototypes. It's just too bad we can't bring the two most popular classes together here (GT3 and DP) - maybe once the new DP comes out that will be a better possibility.
Glenn - I think I wanted the HPD/GT combination to work just as badly as you did. As we said last night ... even though the official series seems to attract a lot of HPD drivers, the official attendance stats don't seem to reflect our league's interests. I'm still hopeful we can revisit it in the future.
Nevertheless, it seems like this group can handle multi-class racing pretty well - as Chris said - the overall impression I got last night was that it was a fun race and everyone was pretty well behaved. This is another idea I'd like to revisit in the future if we can get our attendance closer to the 30's.

I had a lot of fun last racing with you guys. I was part of a nice battle in the GT3 up front with Claude, Paul, Eric ... Here is only a very small clip of us on few corners and a lost of control from my part but without any damaged and didn't lost too much time either
