LMP 2 for me as well, I have yet to race it. I am tempted to give the Ford GT a try since I never raced that either, but I think I will in the HPD.

I have to admit I'm a Porsche fan-boy, but I'm going to give the MP4 a try.
Just for reference, the race record for the GT3's is in the 1:57's, and the HPD is a 1:45.5
First practice launches tomorrow at 9pm EST - see you guys there.

I should be there. I was planning in my trusty Porsche but depending on entries I may hop into the prototype. As usual Ed a big thank you and great job on the presentation of the event.

Thanks Paul, the timing of the holidays and our launch has been perfect. I've got a few more days to tweak stuff out the graphics and then I'll just recycle it until the summer.
As for the cars ... I'd invite guys to feel free to experiment, in the end though, I assume everyone will want to find a group of equally skilled drivers to race with. I expect that the mix of cars will probably change between Thursday and Saturday. (Heck, it'll probably look very different for next week's fun run when we switch the GT class for the Daytona Prototype.)

I think I'll be sitting this one out. I did some practicing and started getting the hang of the Ruf, then jumped into practice for a V8 race and was completely off. I think I'll stick with the V8 for now.

Hi Jason - thanks for coming out to check out the cars. Maybe we can convince you to come out next week and try the Daytona Prototypes when we run our final multi-class exhibition race? Nice turn out last night - we had 20 drivers on the server for a practice. Although the mix of cars was a little off - only 5 HPD's. I anticipate we'll add a few more drivers tonight so I'm curious to see if the mix of cars changes. Congrats to our quickest drivers last night, Mike Erter (1:47.975) in the HPD, and Eric Winter (1:59.987) in the BMW Z4.

I struggled when I started switching between cars and I've heard more than one person advise against it. For me, I think it's actually helped (but maybe not at first). I'll try to run each car a little each night. Sometimes it's only two or three laps, but even those short runs seem to help.
