As a bit of a Christmas present to myself I opted to finally pull the trigger on a 24" BenQ 144 Hz monitor. After having it up and running for the better part of two and a half hours I can say that I'm more than pleased with the monitor and the clarity of the picture. That being said I now have to go through a period of readjustment since I nixed my triple monitor set up (Three 20" Acer 60 Hz monitors); At the moment I can no longer "feel" the width of my car or where my tires are in relation to the track. It's a bit frustrating but at the same time it does feel like a challenge. I'm sure that's the last thing I need at the moment since I'm still trying to gain consistency in one tough car to handle, but c'est la vie.

lol Grats on the new monitor, and good luck readjusting. Not sure how well I'd handle going back to a single.

After I got my 3 monitors setup I don't think I can go back to 1, even if it's a better quality improvement. But that's me. Anyways, congrats on the new monitor! Always like reading about how people improve their racing rigs.

Hope you can add a couple of more monitors to your setup soon. I know there is no way I could go back to a single monitor after running triples. That is until they make a single curved monitor about 4 feet wide with about a 170 degree curve that would replace all of my monitors.

I hope so too because it's so awkward to race on a single monitor again.

You need the computer horsepower to keep up with the higher refresh rate monitors to get the most out of them. With 3 screens thats a tough ask. I have a overlocked i7 and a overclocked 780ti and I typically have iRacing FPS locked at 85. If I turn it off I can hit about 100.

Your computer sounds a lot like mine; I'm running an i7 3770k with a 780. I'm not planning on running three 144Hz monitors, just the center with the two side monitors being 60-75Hz.

Thats a good idea Tony. Not sure what FPS you were getting with the 3 monitors but if you could get close to 100 you could get a 120hrz panel?
