I am afraid the V8 series is dead, there is just not enough interest to keep it going. I have enjoyed my time racing here and I know my path will cross with many of you in official races, some of us. are going to see is we can get the iracing official 815 pm or 915 pm ( after daylight savings time) go official on tuesdays
Take care all and good racing to all

sad to see it die off but cant control what has happened. Tony don't be a stranger and good luck in the official races, i do watch them from time to time (work permitting).
If anyone has a fill in series they would like to see, post it up. I know alot of people want the GSC back up and going and i havent heard from Edward on that yet.

I'm sorry guys about pulling out but time is not something I have anymore. Running V8's unfortunately represented too much of a time commitment as I'm creating my own League.
If you guys want the details on it please let me know because it would be an honor having any of you join in.
The only thing is it's a Blancpain GT League so I'm not sure how many folks from here would be interested?

We had a pretty healthy GT section when the other Ed was running it. Post up the details, you'll likely get some interested parties :-)

We had a pretty healthy GT section when the other Ed was running it. Post up the details, you'll likely get some interested parties :-) I hope it's ok to post this here but if not please accept my apologies and delete. ... As I've already alluded to, time availability trailed off quite drastically for me simply because I've been busy creating my own League. It wasn't something I really set out to do, it was just requested of me numerous times during Twitch Streams of Practice Pals Sessions. After about 1.5 Seasons worth of testing I'm proud to say we have a viable League that I invite you all to check out. The League is a Blancpain Sprint Series League however we've endeavored to configure it as closely to the real world Sprint Series as possible. Some allowances had to be made to satisfy peoples busy schedules but what we've settled on so far has proven to be pretty unique. First of all, there is no Qualify Session, Qualifying is an inverse grid Race lasting 20 minutes in duration. The reason for inverse gridding is to ensure that everyone gets close and competitive racing in a pack environment. The fastest Drivers grid toward the rear of the field and are challenged to use all their skills to get through the field quickly and cleanly. After a short 15 minute break the Main Race begins. The main race is 50 minutes in duration with a mandatory Pit Stop for tires only half way into the session. The Pit Window is only 5 minutes meaning the race in and out of the Pits is every bit as busy as it is on track. The Main Race is grid from the Qualify Race results.
