Tonight I was itching to get some V8SC practice in and although I didn't intend to race tonight, I opted to sign up for race anyways. Well to my surprise I found myself in the Top Split...which meant I was on the V8SC Americas Broadcast. Talk about some pressure for a guy who has always been a Second Split driver. Well I didn't qualify as well as I had practiced. I was a good 1/2 second off because admittedly I was a bit nervous. However, by the end of the qualify session I was starting to find my footing and I was feeling a lot more confident. We grid, the green light drops and we're off. I quickly pick up a spot when a guy goes a bit wide into T1. However, he misjudged his reentry and PIT me into the wall. Race over. The only thing I had wished for was that it mad the broadcast...but it went unnoticed. Next time! lol

that sucks man but great job on making the top split Thanks. I wish it had something to do with skill, but it seems that there has been an influx of drivers into the V8SC and so I just happened to have made the iRating cut because it was a low SOF. My iRating dropped to sub 1800 after the race too. I will say that the excitement of getting into the top split has re-ignited the fire to master this car and maybe race for reals in the top split races. That was kind of my goal when I first came across the broadcasts. I couldn't believe how cool they were. I have a taste and now I want more. I should like some sort of fame hungry reality TV star. lol
