I'm missing this one too, but good luck to everyone who runs. Sounds like last weeks was a great race and hopefully Oran Park provides another one.

Blah! My shifter started to fall off 15 minutes into the race. After a few laps of trying to futz with it I just pitted way early to fix it.
Fast forward to 10 minutes to go I'm in second. Knowing full well that Tony would catch me. I was hoping for a podium. But a half spin sealed my deal with 4rth place. BUMMER.

interesting race for me Issac and i both went into T1 without lifting, we touched and i backed out to let him recover and reposition, i slowed down way too much and ended up 5th behind tony mino, next lap going into 1 he appeared to lose it going into 1 under braking, so i hit the brakes hard and spun. let everyone past and ended up last
few laps later spun on exit of the last turn trying to avoid hitting person in front
did that again a number of laps later behind Marc, time to pit and knowing how tight pit entrance is i took absolute care and crashed into pit wall, destroyed the car and got a speeding penalty fast repair, time penalty for speeding and back in last place turned laps and finally caught some cars and slowly one by one got by, this is a very tough track to pass on and you have to pounce on any opening. i was fortunate to capitalize on a couple of mistakes and found myself back in second after Vals half spin

I really don't like this track at all. But after a bunch of practice, I was finally at least getting comfortable and able to run consistent clean laps. Had a good start and through the bad luck of others I found myself in second place after the pit stop. I know it was frustrating for the guys behind me because it is so hard to pass here.
My plan was just to keep it on the track and run my line. If anybody got a good run on me I wasn't going to fight too hard, but I also wasn't going to just give away positions either. All that changed on lap 37 when I spun coming out of T2 and let 5 cars go by. I hadn't spun there all night, in fact it was one of the corners I was making up time on. After that it was just running more consistent laps and finishing the race.
Very small field this week. Either a lot going on or there's other people who also don't like this track.

For starters I feel as if I should issue an apology to Kloosterman and to Mark. Tony, I think I caused you to spin out when I started to lose control of my car going into T1 when my brakes locked up on me. So sorry about that. Maybe it was for the best since you more than likely have an exciting race fighting your way back up to P2. If not, still my bad. Mark, sorry I undercut you early in the race. I was trying to give you room but that's a corner that I have a bit of history of running wide on, so I try tried to keep it as tight as I could without running wide. Thankfully it seemed to be a no-harm, no foul 0x incident. Just a little bit of paint swapping. I'm extremely disappointed in myself. Coming out of the pits I hit my pit limiter thinking it was my COM button and so I was Black Flagged for speeding in the pits. That sent me from a possible Top 5 finish to a back of the pack finish. It was all the more disappointing when I saw in the Race Report that I had the second fastest average lap time of the field. Better luck next time, I guess. The L1 Gaggle. Cool shot of Tony and Tony. The Double T Machine!

no worries tony, I saw what was happening and didn't want to hit you. I just hit the brakes too hard and spun and sat there hoping no one else would hit me. that accomplished I had fun working my way back through the field

For whatever reason that car wasn't underneath me for the first half of the race. I found really good pace that second half though.
