Here is my perspective from last night's race. YouTube is still processing the video so 60 FPS won't be available for probably about an hour or so. Week 7 at Bathurst

That was a great race Tony.
I wasn't sandbagging. I broke the cardinal rule and changed my race setup right before the race. I lowered the rear spring one click for the qual setup and it worked so well, I tried it for the race setup. But it made the car mushy and couldn't turn as good with full fuel. I really noticed it coming down the mountain and that is where you made the most time on me. It did work a little better after the pit stop with less fuel, but you were still faster.
I will fix it before the next race. I plan to run the Friday night V8 Americas race. Hopefully we can be in the same spit there and battle some more. If you can, come race with us on Sunday morning. We had a good race last Sunday on an American server. Should be another good one this Sunday.

We had a good race last Sunday on an American server. Should be another good one this Sunday. I was just so surprised that I caught up to you and then stayed with you, especially after seeing the lap times you were putting down in practice. I smelled a strategy at work and when we both came out of the pits putting down low 2:10s it sort of confirmed it in my mind for a bit. It wasn't until our lap times settled in again that I started to feel that I might actually have been a bit faster. I could see where I was picking up a lot of my time and I could see where I was losing time against you. At any rate it was a fantastic race. By fast the best racing I've had this season. As for Sundays it's a bit hard for me to make that race. I'm usually at my girlfriend's house (she lives 45 mins south of me) Saturday nights so getting up and leaving at the crack of dawn to get back home in time for an 8:15 AM race seems like a hard sell. I'm planning to run tonight and tomorrow night but I'll be honest and say that the Friday night races are losing a bit of their luster for me. The second splits are still filled with drivers who a lot faster than me and it has been my experience this season that it's just boring racing. It gives me something to work toward but I'm loving Thursday nights more.
