One thing i would like to ask and I know its controversial. if you are being lapped, please please please find a safe place and move over, this is a league, its not real life and there is nothing on the line, racing guys that are 1 ,2 or 3 laps ahead of you is silly and could lead to a race ending incident for both of you. I know the purists say its the faster guys responsibility to make the pass, but a little co-operation will go a long way to making the event more enjoyable for all Okay, I've tried not to comment, but I've got too. The guys in Grasim are great at honoring the blue/yellow flag and usually far more courteous than necessary. However, I battled someone for at least three laps at Summit and we were even side by side more than once. It was like we were battling for position--maybe he though we were, I'm not sure. There is nothing actually wrong with that and the driving was clean, but it does slow both cars down. Once someone is beside you, and it your not on the same lap, it's really in everyone's best interest to not contest the position.

That was a fun clean race from everyone that I saw. I was looking forward to this race as Summit Point is kind of my home track per se. In the first half of the race I could barely hang on with the pack of Troy, Mario, and I think it was Anthony. The second half was much more action packed as I had a great battle with Troy, and then my tires went a lot faster than the first stint and I lost a LOT of pace the last 5 laps or so which easily let Mario past me. Another 9th place finish I'm satisfied with.

It allowed me to get right up on your bumper and challenge you for 7th. Not that it mattered, I spun not to long after.

I just wish I would have employed a different fuel and pit strategy because then I would have been able to have kept in the race longer.

Don't be too hard one yourself, you're getting faster every week. I see lots of others getting faster and more consistent too. Great to see.

No worries. Despite my mistakes, I still had a great time. I think my biggest mistake was not tweaking the setup. It's a good setup that I'm faster with than what I was using, but it's a bit more tail happy than I'm comfortable with. I think if I'd have modified it just a bit to help settle the rear on corner exit, I'd have been a tenth or 2 slower on my fast laps, but probably faster over all because I would have been more comfortable. This is a learning car for sure, and a learning series. I'm working more on consistency than speed. When I think I can catch someone in front of me, or when I'm being pressured from behind I tend to get excited. When I get excited I get twitchy, and this car does not like twitchy. I've been trying to focus more on staying calm letting the race happen. I managed to do that in my last 2 races on Bathurst last season, and ended up with some of my best races and finishes.

There is nothing actually wrong with that and the driving was clean, but it does slow both cars down. Once someone is beside you, and it your not on the same lap, it's really in everyone's best interest to not contest the position. I noticed the same thing during the race. I was really wondering what was going on there. It is rare to see in league racing. I can understand in official series where it is basically a free for all, but normally in league racing, blue flags are handled very respectfully. I finished 1 lap down, and when Martin caught up to me, I let him by at the first safe opportunity. I did not want to battle with him and possible lose positions. And I would feel terrible if I messed up someone else's race, especially the front runner. I know there are no hard rules for it, but the normal practice is to let cars laps ahead of you to pass at the earliest convenience. This is easy to do by either lifting slightly on a straight or taking a corner a little wide to let the car through. No need to pull over and stop, just ease up a bit to get it over with as soon and safely as possible.

This isn't going to be related with a clan race but when I did a race in mazda cup a few weeks ago I was contending in the podium battle and 1,2,3 were separated by about 2 seconds and we came up to some lapped cars and I went around a lapped car and the next thing I know I was putned into the sand, I was third and luckily didn't lose any spots but I then got on track and then went to dive on him at turn 1 to get past and he just turned straight into my right hand rear, I held it but and the next lap at turn 1 he dive bombed me and we both spun putting him into the wall and out and me into the wall but it was the last lap I was third and had next to no front damage so I continued to finish third. If this is in the wrong spot let me know

That just sounds like stupid official race nonsense that you get sometimes unfortunately.
