Sorry being a newbie I'm going to ask a really, really, really stupid newbie question; what does "unrestricted fuel" mean on the pit stop? Does that mean you must take a fill up on the Pit Stop?
If so, what fuel load are people carrying at the beginning of the race?
Thanks.

Ken, The pit stop is only a mandatory 4 tire change. There is no restriction on the amount of fuel you can start the race with(obviously tank size). I personally start with around 22 then add 10 during the pit stop as that amount can be added at the same time as the tire change. I think Tony normally says he needs @34 gallons but I dont normally do as many laps as him!

You can run any fuel load you like, I will doo some calculations when I get home and estimate what you need to complete the race.

I estimate the race will be 45 laps fuel mileage varies but i think 34-35 gallons will be safe
I always start full and will add a few gallons on the stop.

I will be putting up a hosted practice session tonight from 6:00pm - 8:00pm EDT (The 2 hours immediately before the official league server goes live). With all the confusion with the updates and setup changes, I'm sure I will need the extra practice and there are probably others who could use a little extra practice as well.
My practice session will be in the hosted sessions and open to everyone. It will be called GRAsim practice. Hopefully there can be some sharing of setups since we are basically starting over with all the changes in the updates.

Just out of curiosity how do the tires fall off on this car?
I'm really trying to keep the tires from slipping but it's the V8 and for me at least, tire spin and understeer are an ongoing issue.
Also, is it just me or does the V8 actually turn in better with a full tank of gas?

there is very little fall off on the tires till near the end of the stint
it feels better to me as well with more fuel (19 odd gallons) and thats what i do the majority of my practice on

I think I was running around 20, 21 Gallons in practice for the most part so we'll see how it goes. I've yet to do a long stint so I think tonight I'll just try to find a hole and drive in it the entire race.

Hi Ken, To elaborate you can get about 8 gal in the time it takes to take 4 tires. Most of us start with full or nearly full tank and then plan on pitting somewhere around the 30 minute mark. If I have clear track and my times are still good I just keep toing. If times are falling off... well you get the idea. Also, good idea to calculate your earliest possible stop in case you get some damage on the start and are considering coming in early for the fast repair and 4 tires.

Let's not forget, if you have very minor damage at pit stop time uncheck the fast repair just in case its needed for a crash later in the race.

It was good guys. I got out and turned a few laps. I got up on the board, and all at one of my least favorite tracks. It was fun just to get out there. I hope to do it again next week, but maybe be able to hang longer.... lol.

that was interesting, lazy spin at moss, wait for a gap and i thought i got back on the straight without impeding anyone but it seems i may have gotten in the way, i apologize if that was my fault. a 1:40 tow and a lap down and worked my way back up to 7th. thanks for the room guys,I know i was a bit opportunistic in a couple spots it seemed a lot of people had bad luck, expeciallly Brian having such a big lead and then having his throttle stick
Congrats to Troy on the win and Tony and Issac for the balance of the podium
