was curious if the head gasket was blown causing the heads to over heat and then crack (speaking from experience ). Looks like a fun project none the less. probably should look for a used v8 somewhere since you have most the motor torn apart, might as well rip it out of there

the early 2.9L are known for cracking the head bc of a poor design. I was thinking of doing a V8 swap but i would have to change the whole drive train over to a 1/2 drive train. More money I really dont want to spend right now.

That stinks, so finding used heads probably isn't going to be as easy as it should be.

That looks nice! If need some more ideas I used to have (well, I still have it but I took it off because the cable broke) one of these It worked great but one of the buttons didn't work (my fault when I installed it) and over time the USB connector on the back where the display is got worn out because every time you power cycled the wheel when it homed itself, it would twist that cable up and put a lot of stress on the connector. It eventually quit working but I re soldered the connector on and then the cable broke a few weeks later, so I gave up using it and took the whole thing off. It now sits in a box, somewhere If I had a CSW wheel i would definitely have this on it.

nice box. I just tired of the small 270mm wheel and want to go to a more realistic sized wheel.

Got my track ir hooked up tonight. Im pretty impressed so far. Im using the profile that Tony posted but took the speed down to 0.3. The g27 wheel kit i cant get shipped to the us . Almost got my overclocking done on my CPU, still having a few issues with it and did my GPU last night.
