I thought it was going to be just about the new car, but if you didn't know what to look for you would just assume it was another race car.
But ya, its going to be interesting on how it will do. Looks like it will go well in straight line, not sure about high speed corners. If you listen to Midweek Motorsport they did an interview with Darren Cox (Global head of Nismo) and he talks about Le Mans an how this car was based to go well there. At Silverstone, or COTA I would expect this car to struggle this year.

Toyota had 1000+ hp last year on a 8 mega joule system, and rumors are floating around that they are ditching the V8 and going with something else, which would mean even more power.
If you dive into the rules book and see what these manufactures are given to work with its amazing the solutions that have come out. I think the LMP1 class has passed F1 as far as technology goes. All F1 cars pretty much have the same IC engine, it's the bits bolted on to them that is different. In LMP1 you can pretty much do whatever you want. We have a v4 turbo, a v6 turbo, a diesel v6 turbo, and a NA V8, and that is just the IC side. The hybrid systems are all different as well, and this is why I love sports car racing.

^ True. Each manufacturer has found their niche. Audi, Toyota, and Nissan have no interest in F1, and they've focused their efforts elsewhere (into the sports car world).
