I'll play with the bias. I like front heavy...just to know that her ass is going to stay behind me means a lot.
I found a second in the bus stop, guess 3rd gear is too low. I'll just go to 4th. Same coming out onto NASCAR out of the infield...2nd gear is too low. I'll stay in 3rd.
I just found it can get a bit loose if you're stuck around the inside of turn 1...rear gets light when out of the groove. Also the same if you're stuck on the left hander coming back onto the track...just have to feather the throttle a bit more and point her properly.
I can't get the green paint.
I'll get some more laps in throughout the day. I'm running 1:49s.

I use 3rd in the bus stop as well as 2nd on exit to oval. You get really good turn in with the high rpms. And I like the pull you get on the exit to oval.
Trading paints isn't working for me yet either.

2nd gear I'll spin it every time. 3rd gear I'm fine, and actually seem to be faster going to the bus stop than in 2nd.
Dif'rnt strokes for dif'rnt folks.
I'm practicing secondary lines everywhere, and I'm still loose around the inside of turn 1. Will loop it into the pit exit wall every time. Hmmm.
Moar practice!

More practice is definitely a good idea lol. Also people who haven't done driver swaps should try and get together and join a practice session do practice driver swaps.

I can definitely make that one. No need to make a session, we can hop in an official session as a team registry.

Edit2: Was just in a practice session. We need to have a LOT of give if we're going to survive all the idiots. This guy thought I was blocking even though I was holding the yellow line There was a change in the sporting code just released today that clearly addresses driving on the apron. 7.1.1.12. Drivers can only use the racing surface for qualifying and racing. The apron is not defined as racing surface, example Daytona Road Course. Cars may not use the apron to gain an advantage in qualifying or racing. Any advantage will be determined by iRacing.com. This section may be protested. There is another change which affects multiclass qualifying. 7.1.1.13. Driver may not use nefarious tactics to gain an advantage in qualifying. Example, having a Prototype Car slowing down for the sole purpose of creating a drafting situation for the benefit of a slower class car. This included cutting the course or not. iRacing.com will determine what constitutes an advantage. Getting a draft through normal qualifying strategy or luck is okay.

Paul, great job on qualifying. You beast.
Question: have you changed the brake bias on a/the new set vs. the second version, which I have? ( the last one we practiced together with) I ask because the car was perfect for me as it was, just want to be able to adjust it back if it changed.
I can do a practice later. Let me know when.

The brake bias should be the same. The only thing I touched was the tire pressures. Let me know if anything is different because then it's the wrong set....
Wish I had a draft in qualifying because the practice session I joined right after I did a 1:45:8xx with a draft lol.

We have 24 hours to make up for your transgression...lol
Ok, I'll compare the sets later. If you only adjusted tire pressures then I'm good.

Yeah, I'm spending most of my time not racing the preferred line, but rather feel how the car reacts doing certain things.
HPD drivers are morons.
