((Looks great Greg!!)) Sorry for the delay in following up guys - just a busy week at work and I didn't have a chance to mess with ProjectCars until yesterday. I picked up the game for $37 bucks during Steam's Summer sale (going on for the next 10 days or so). My impression is the same all of yours -- it's good fun, it won't replace iRacing in the short term, but it's excels with GTR2, Rfactor or the Race07/On series if they're still installed on your machine. I think however, I'm going to have to pass the torch onto someone else to admin this. From my understanding, races are hosted locally (i.e. on your machine) and advertised on the steam/project cars server list. Once again, it's similar to GTR2 and Race07/On in this regard. I looked into hosting a dedicated server (there's an app for that on Steam you can download), but my connection has been pretty crappy the last several months to the extent that it would be a bad idea for me to host these. If this becomes a permanent fixture here, we may want to look into collection donations so we can get some time on pro-level server with a good upload/download. (Here's the link to the dedicated server setup FAQ: forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?22370-Dedicated-Server-HowTo-%28Work-in-Progress%29) So ... is anyone interested in leading the charge on this? Of course, I'd be happy to give up my Saturday nights and help with the admin (e.g. scoring, posting on the forums, etc...)? Hoping someone is able to host this, but if not, I'll ask my son if he's interested in hosting. We have a decent cable ISP and a spare PC that should be able to run a server. He's out for the summer and loves geeky stuff so this might work. I don't own the game, but am tempted to buy it, however, I'm not sure if it'll even run on my PC. But after what I've seen, and trying it briefly on my son's machine, it looks like I should give it a shot. [EDIT] Jacob, my son, want's to give this a shot and will work on it today. Will update you if he get's it running and then ask for some testers. We currently have 30M up / 3M down so I think that would work for at least 15 drivers? Server would be the i7 2.8GHz with 8GB mem, and Win7. Seems like we should be able to run it? I might have to buy the game and join just for the supper low latency advantage I would have

Got the server working and port forwarding configured I hope. Need to test, so I'm setting up a 4 lap test race at 6pm PDT / 9pm EDT at the La Mans track with GT3 cars (single class).
Practice: 5pm PDT Race: 6pm PDT 60x time acceleration No damage, no cautions
Server will be in the in-game lobby browser as "GRAsim Test Race" Password: hello 16 players maximum

I bought the game and downloading now. Hopefully someone can at least try connecting tonight to test the router and port forwarding. Thanks for setting this up Jacob.

No problem Mario. We've gone from can't get it listed on PCars, to can't get anything to work now. I think we're about to scrap it for now.

iracing has the online and physics worked out but pCars is in a different league as far as graphics and track conditions go. But ya the physics aren't perfect, neither is the ai, but its right up there as one of the best single player driving sims I have driven since GT Legends. Also forgot about the sounds, pCars>iRacing.
This gave me goose bumps, make a GT4 race, pick any GT4 car. Pick any track and drive down into turn one and just pull off the track and wait for the field to go by. Now switch to a external view and turn the volume up a little past where you normally would have and just sit there for a few laps. It felt like I was at a real track. The GT4 is pretty much the same as the top class in the Continental tire series. This would work for GT3 cars as well if you want a little more variety in engine sounds
