All this talk about slow down penalties. What are those? I see the track, keep my car there, and no slow down. Simple.
I had an ok race. Only had one almost incident when I spun coming out of the hairpin T10. I didn't get the car past 90 degrees on the initial spin, so it didn't record an incident. I did lose a couple of spots though. But I finished where I should have, every car in front of me was running better times.
Congrats to Tony K. on your first win this season. I knew you had one coming, all you had to do was make it through a race without spinning or hit the wall. Only 1 incident also, that is a really good performance.

Thanks Troy, you are absolutely right about avoiding the spins, i always seem to have 1 per race, lapse of concentration. Tuesday I was pretty focused and i was rewarded. just need to figure out how to repeat that.
Unfortunately i will be missing Zolder, my wife is returning from business and her flight lands at 915, not sure my letting her sit at the airport would be good for my future racing career, or for that matter my pocketbook.
Good luck to everyone next week, practice will still be scheduled for sunday at 2pm

The guy with 1000+ official races under his belt makes it sound very easy... Good luck to everyone next week, practice will still be scheduled for sunday at 2pm Missing out on a good one I think, but overall probably a wise decision! I was PO'd last season my fiance left the house mid-race, but then realized she forgot her keys, locked herself out and needed to get back in. Man I left her out for five minutes before I had to pull over and forfeit a great race thus far for me at VIR.

The #1 car, qualified 1st, led every lap, fastest lap time, and the win. And you did it with ZERO incidents. Look out everyone, Tony is on a roll. Probably a good thing he won't make the next race, he needs to cool his jets a little. Also a nice placing for Tony Mino getting on the podium without a hood on the car. Great representation actually having 2 North American drivers on the podium in a V8SC Americas race. I still think they should change the name of the race. How about "V8SC Australia: Americans can tag along also" In the first split there were 13 Australians and 6 North Americans, the second split had 13 Australians and 5 North Americans. Total 26 Australians, 11 North Americans. And Australians dominated the first split with the top 8 positions.

I should mention congratulations to Victor Tanaka, representing NQR and Grasim in the top split with a 12th place finish
