With more and more time being freed up for me, I am finally getting back into driving. I made the GV8 this week, and only missed Long Beach due to a van buyer who never showed up.
With that said, I want to start holding some fun races on Wednesday nights. There are several ideas I would be interested in running...
1. Kia (alone, or multi with Jetta OR Mustang FR500S) on tracks like Oulton Island (Hist), Brands GP, Sonoma Cup, Long Beach GP, etc)
2. RUF C-SPEC on same type of tracks listed above
3. Skippy open on tracks
4. Jetta (or Legends) on tracks like Oulton Fosters (w/Hislops), Brands Indy, Barber Short A, Okayama Short, etc.
I will be hosting something tonight, probably about the same time we do the GV8 stuff. I am going to wait to schedule it though in hopes that I get some feedback into what people would like to see. Right now I am leaning towards the Kia and Mustang on Oulton Island (Historic).

There's certainly a few tracks in iRacing that are underutilized such as Brands Hatch, Barber and Mid-Ohio (well maybe not Mid-Ohio but I love that course to bits so I'm including it anyway lol). |

Well, Watkins always draws, as does Laguna Seca and Okayama. If you mean enjoyed by our members, then we have raced Road Atlanta quite a bit, and people seem to like it. Interlagos has produced some of our greatest racing overall in GRAsim.
My idea for tracks would be in the 1.8 mile to 2.4 mile size, if we were talking some touring car racing.

The Watkins configuration with Bus Stop and no boot is used in the Ruf Cup or at least it was when I raced it. That made for some interesting racing.
Also the very short Silverstone config races well but a lot of people hate Silverstone for some reason.
There's a short config for Brands Hatch that was run in S3 2014 GT3 I believe. There's also the Jefferson Course but that's pure chaos lol.

WOW, Brands Indy is far too short for GT3 racing! It is barely over a mile in length. That would have been crazy, I am sure.
Tracks I think would work with the Kia (and possibly Jetta) race...

6. NJMP Thunderbolt

lol dammit. I saw it up and let my game update as I had some dinner.
Every update now I have to completely re-install my game from scratch so I have to update every bl00dy car every time.
It's maddening!

Ken, delete iracing competely and reinstall, back up your paint folder and setups folder
I had that happen to me once before as well

Bummer! No biggie. I got some good laps in, broke my personal best as a matter of fact, so no harm, no foul. It was pretty short notice. I will start another thread so people can discuss what they might like to see next week. |

This is why I'm giving up on updating on Week 13 until they release their second update at the end of the week. |
