We will be missing you Bill! I took your name off the list. I also added my usual teammate Eric Eng. He is running in the mid 2:02s I think right now. Still finalizing the setup after the spring changes.

I'm going to put up a private session in a few hours. Password will be "umbc".
Not sure when it will go up. Depends on when Eric Eng gets out of bed lol.
Edit: I'm going to start the session at 12 PM EST!

Thank for the practice session and the set up. The second session was interesting, this track is going to be busy with a full split. I hope the pit crews are on point with repairs!

We are definitely going to need spotters to watch for flying HPDs that we can't see in the rear-view mirror because of the twisty nature of the track. Teamwork is going to be really big here, as well as staying out of trouble. I think slow and safe is going to be much more important than Daytona.

Also in the second session, me Eric and Pete dropped ~1.5 seconds compared to the first private one. Just with cloud cover difference. I'll post the set later tonight. Eric made a few more changes to it that I haven't tested yet.

I got a PM on iRacing from Paul saying we are starting to get teams together for the race now. I still don't know if I will be working the day of the race and won't know until about a week before, but I will almost certainly be able to make the race. I'm also out of town right now and can't practice for about another week, but will get on it when I get back home.
Also, I saw on the previous page that you guys had decided on the RUF. Is this still the case?

We are running the RuF as that's what we ran in the Daytona 24 and it's really easy to drive. I run a Z4 in a different league but am thinking of changing car as the Ruf is so easy(and after the update it appears to be faster) to drive.

Here's the WIP setup. I am able to do high 2:01s consistently with this set. Still working on it with Eric.

I found with the latest set up the rear was pretty much planted, the only time I had any sort of problem was going into turn 15 (the right/left before the right onto the back straight) and had some understeer, but that might have just been me as it was fine around the rest of the track.

I'll be working on high speed damping today. The last set you used, was that with rear roll bar at 2 or 3? I'm not sure if i posted the set with 3, or just made a mention over radio to change it to 3, but it helped a little bit. Hopefully I can tune out the rest of the problems in the next few days. Definitely let me know if you don't like something though and I'll look into how I can make it better.

I was using the "2" set up. I'll try adjusting the rear roll bar to 3 next time.

Ran an hour race last night. Did the practice with the roll bar at 3 but ran the race at 2 . The 2 is a much better set up for me for a race set up. i would have had a podium with it but for a mistake which was purely me!
