Congrats to Farooq , Ryan and Glenn Ryan had a killer pit stop to get out ahead of Farooq and only due to a slow down did Farooq get by Ryan great racing up front boys a momentary technical issue with my shifter cost me 3 spots, just happy to be on a plane back to this side of the atlantic, and away from this place next week we are at monza, a new track, we are running the GP course with chichanes, the first corner will be interesting, we'll see who behaves Ya that was an awesome stop by Ryan, also didn't help that I was thinking "where the hell is pit entry on this track?" 2 laps before I needed to pit lol

Great race everyone. Congratulations to Farooq for the win and to Ryan and Glenn for filling the podium. I had another solid race. Qualified right where I thought I should be. Got a good start and just concentrated on running clean consistent laps. My race pace was a little bit off because I was really working hard for that zero incident race which wasn't easy this week.
I was really cheering for my team mate Ryan when he took the lead after the pit stop. Would have been nice to start the season with 2 wins for the team. Still a very solid run with 3 of us in the top 5 and all 4 in the top 10.
Should be a good race next week on a brand new track. See you all there.

Thanks to Troy's setup wizardry I was able to find a bit more pace before the League Session went live. I went from mid 33s with an occasional low 33 to low 33s with an occasional mid to high 32. Now I need to find that consistency before Thursday and Friday. Needless to say it felt good to feel a bit more competitive right before the race. Congrats to the podium! We in the Newforinia TS kind of jinxed Ryan by saying how awesome two team wins in two weeks would be well before the race was over. Ooops! lol Sorry again to Val for that slight tap on lap 1. I got through T4 faster than I was expecting on cold tires and so I checked up hard when I started to nudge you. That moved caused a bit of an accordion effect as one of the Band of Others drivers said hello to my bumper as he came through T4. I think that was Mark (aka Zack), so sorry for that scare dude! It was fun watching the replay and seeing how dense the team fields are getting! Here is the group photo of the Newfornia boys from after the race.

So Ryan told me after that tonight's SOF race that we raced against a NASCAR driver, Parker Kligerman. I don't have a clue as to who he is but I think it's super cool to know that professional drivers use the service. It's one of the main reasons why I signed up for iRacing in the first place. If it's good enough for the pros then it's good enough for me! Here is a screen shot of he and I making a mad dash for the finish line at the end of the race.

I was in a GT3 race last week and some guy called Shane van Gisbergen was running. Apparently he's quite good.
