I really wanted to race, but my power supply gave out and killed my HDD with iRacing on it. Looks like I may not even make the Thursday race.

Damn, you've been having some bad luck lately Ryan. Shame you couldn't race.
I had a pretty good time. Other than a few early race mistakes I feel I ran pretty decent. Battled Glen for a few laps, then Mario kept some good pressure on me for a bunch more laps. Managed to work my way back up to 10, so I'm happy.
Glen- I was trying not to be too aggressive, but didn't want to lay down and let you have the spot either. I was actually surprised you didn't get by sooner. Although I wasn't driving well and making mistakes. OTOH, I don't do too well when being pressured and knew I needed to relax or I was going to make even more mistakes.

First, welcome to Nathan Schartner who joined our league tonight qualified second, had fastest lap and WON the race.
My race, or should I say 2 different races ended with a result worse then i wanted but better then i deserved. Started with the wrong set, spun trying to avoid Marty Carroll when i misjudged his braking point and ended up last, passed about 120 cars and spun a couple more times before the first pit stop. Made a tire pressure and sway bar adjustment during the pit stop and ripped off a bunch of 26's and started to gain back spots eventually settling for 8th.

Nice run Nigel, Marty and Nate. I couldn't get in a rhythm after the pit stop and lost a lot of time, not that it would have mattered too much , but I will take a top 5 any day at this track, not one of favorites to be honest. Pretty uneventful race, well except lap 26 I believe it was, the rear end kicked out on the last turn on me and I had a bit of a handful to try and keep it on the track. If anyone saved the replay its worth a watch I held Marty off for the first stint but judging by the gap after the pit stop I guess I was holding him up pretty good because there was a 8 second gap after the pit stop. Looking forward to Bathurst!

Ugly doesn't even begin to describe tonight's race for me. Maybe this means that I'm in for a solid run in the official races this week.

Although I wasn't driving well and making mistakes. OTOH, I don't do too well when being pressured and knew I needed to relax or I was going to make even more mistakes. Jason - It was good racing with you Jason. I would never expect anyone to laydown when battling for position. You had every right to race me hard, and you did I had short pitted to get an advantage on Troy and Kevin because it became obvious that they were not going to make any mistakes and I was not fast enough to get around (I could barley keep up). You had good pace too and in hindsight I should have laid back about a second and followed until you pitted. But, the racing was a blast. I was a little too careful at times and you made me pay for that
Kevin - Nice racing! I was enjoying harassing you until I missed the brake and damn near took you out. My foot didn't slip, but got caught on the brake peddle just for a moment when I was moving it over. I panicked and locked up the rear wheels. I think I only missed hitting you because I was sideways! After that, I realized I was running out of fuel anyway and it was time to just try to finish. Apparently I had inadvertently uncheck my fuel and never took any.
Great run Troy. Also, noticed Tony Mino and Val had good pace at the beginning. I saw what happened to Tony in my mirror. Not sure what happened to Val.
This is the 4th different car/track combo for me in 4 days. That's a bit above my skill level so I'm lucky to bring home a 7th and have not ruined anyone's race.
Congratulations to Nathan, Marty, and Nigel. And Greg for brining at least one NQR car home in the top five.

I'd say I had a pretty good showing (9th) for my first time out, especially since I only bought the car less than a week ago. I had some good racing with Tim and Val early on. Tim got passed me early on because I missed pretty much every single apex for the first 2 laps, doh! I finally got passed him on lap 5 going into turn 2. When I caught up to Val, he was putting up a great fight until he got loose going through turn 6. I then made my move, which in hindsight was a very over aggressive (possibly stupid) decision, luckily we both made it out unscathed. The rest of the race was really just driving. Got passed by Tony K. about 18 times, actually tried to defend the last time since there was only a few minutes left, he just drove passed my like I let him by. Had a great time, though. Can't wait until next week!! Also, I took some pictures from the replay, I've got them uploaded here (http://imgur.com/a/iu15q) since they are all too big to post as attachments to my post.

Congrats to Nathan on the win in his first race with us. Congrats also to Martin and Nigel for filling the podium.
I had a great race last night. That was the most comfortable I have ever felt in the V8 Supercar. I have always liked Brands Hatch anyway, and it just works for me with this car.
Really great race with Kevin. Kept me on edge the whole race. I just tried to concentrate and race the track, not the other drivers. Sometimes easier said than done. But in the end, it paid off with another almost clean race and my first top 5 this season.

That was a good run Troy. Brands is a tough track as far as comfort goes, well for me it is. This car rewards patience, if you are in a hurry with your movements or throttle input it will hurt you. Brands seemed to make this very clear to me. After watching John's video on how smooth he was I tried to replicate that in my driving. I always thught I was pretty smooth but I need some more work on that. But once you get in the heat of battle its hard to keep those actions in check.

That was great race between Troy, Greg, and I. The gaps kept rubber banding back and forth. I have to say that was an outstanding drive by Troy. I was on his bumber a couple of times pushing him as hard as I could and he never made a mistake. I put wheels wrong quite a few times and on each one Greg was there trying to capitalize. All of this happened and I don't think we had one pass for position on track.
Greg, I caught the last little bit of your near miss in my mirror and knew that it must have been ca close call. That was a great save. When I saw how sideways you were I thought you had lost it.
Once again a fun race. Glad I started racing with you guys. Looking forward to Bathurst.
